I’ve just released Version 1.0.3 of the Simple Facebook Share Button, which corrects the FB.Loader error exhibited by some versions of Internet Explorer. The update is now available in the WordPress plugins repository.

The latest version of the Simple Facebook Share Button plugin is now available for download from the WordPress plugins repository.
The plugin adds a shortcode, a redesigned manual-inclusion function, and built-in help.

Among the changes encompassed in version 1.0 of the Simple Facebook Share Plugin, the function SFBSB_do() will be eliminated. In its place will be a new function that only outputs the button code, letting users control all other formatting aspects, particularly style and alignment.
Also included in the new version is a shortcode implementation of the plugin that lets users include the button on an as-needed basis. The shortcode implementation supports specifying style and alignment, in addition to button type and, if desired, custom button text.

I’m working on some major updates to the Simple Facebook Share Button based on user suggestions.
At this point, thought, I’m hung up on how to add these features. I designed the plugin to be dead simple, but adding shortcodes and more options to the direct-implementation function (SFBSB_do) have the potential to blow the “simple” concept completely out of the water.
So, would you rather have three options panes, one for the auto implementation, one for function implementation, and one for the shortcodes? Or should the options pane just control the auto …
